About My Clients

My Background and Approach
My approach is eclectic- it's never one size fits all! I pull from various modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Gestalt, Narrative and Grief Focused. I have worked with high risk populations with suicide attempts, thoughs and other self harm behaviors; horrific trauma and raw life experiences. All this to say that if you want to spill your guts and get down to the rawest part of yourself... I'm here for it. I'm licensed in both Washington and Wisconsin as well. Telehealth for both, office in Appleton, WI. I am a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator as well, for any assessment needs for Psychosexual, AODA or Diagnostic Clarification. I can produce assessments for court proceedings as well.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
The core of who I am as a therapist is pretty straightforward: we're only human. We're perfectly imperfect and all handle life differently. I support those from all backgrounds and upbringings. I have had clients from all walks of life that I've in turn learned SO much about the last 10 years in the field.
