About My Clients

I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, chronic pain, pelvic pain, and complex trauma. Many feel stuck in nervous system dysregulation, psychosomatic symptoms, or stress-related conditions that haven’t resolved with talk therapy alone. Our work focuses on regulation, emotional processing, and mind-body healing to create lasting change.

My Background and Approach

I am a Psychotherapist (ASW), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) trainee, and Certified Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Instructor through the JRI Trauma Center in Boston (Bessel van der Kolk). My clinical training includes UCLA’s Child & Adolescent Anxiety, OCD, and Tic Disorder Clinic and the UCLA Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital Intensive Partial Hospitalization Program. I integrate evidence-based practices (including CBT-informed treatment) with somatic therapy and nervous system regulation. My work centers on anxiety disorders, OCD, chronic pain, pelvic pain, and complex PTSD. By tracking the body alongside thoughts and emotions, therapy supports deeper internal awareness, trauma resolution, and sustainable mind-body change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe symptoms are adaptive responses of the nervous system — not personal failures. Anxiety, OCD, and chronic pain often reflect patterns shaped by stress, trauma, and developmental experiences. When we gently work with the body, meaningful change becomes possible. Having navigated a chronic condition myself, I understand the complexity of psychosomatic illness and the limits of our medical system. I am a member of the International Pelvic Pain Society and connected to UCLA’s Creative Healing for Youth in Pain community. With a background in theatre and design, I value creativity as a grounding and regulatory practice, and I incorporate neuroaesthetic approaches, including voice and embodied awareness, when helpful.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
