I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help teens understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or stress and replace them with more balanced, realistic perspectives. Teens also learn practical coping skills, problem-solving strategies, and ways to gradually face difficult situations with greater confidence.

I use Solution-Focused Therapy to help teens build on their strengths and discover practical solutions to the challenges they are facing. Rather than focusing only on problems, we work together to identify what is already working, set meaningful goals, and create small, achievable steps toward positive change. This approach helps teens recognize their resilience, increase confidence, and develop effective strategies for managing life's challenges. Emphasizing hope, strengths, and progress.

I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to help teens better understand and manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and respond to challenges in healthier ways. Teens learn practical skills in mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to navigate stress, cope with overwhelming feelings, and communicate more effectively.
