About My Clients
We work with a diverse population of adolescents and adults, couples and special interest groups. We welcome clients who identify in a variety of ways related to age, gender, race, sexuality, and religion. Many of the people who choose to work with us are highly motivated professionals who are independent and achievement-focused, but may struggle with depression, anxiety, relationships and stress issues. We work with high-school and college students, high-achievers that face many pressures.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. My expertise is in working with adolescents and adults to manage and overcome their difficulties with anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, and interpersonal relationships. I’m a person-centered therapist and utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, and mindfulness techniques to help my clients reach their goals, tailoring my style to best serve each client I work with.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We believe that many people seek out therapy not because of their psychological problems, but more so to help them reach their goals, achieve personal growth, and improve self-care. We are here to help you to be your best self.
