About My Clients
In outpatient practice I often work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression and the effects of past trauma. I provide support in understanding and managing emotions. They are often feeling overwhelmed with learning healthier ways to cope and feel more in control of thoughts and reactions. In therapy we focus on the use of Dialectical Behavior Therapy to learn tools, while valuing a space where clients can feel heard, understood and accepted withougt judgement.
My Background and Approach
Whether you are exploring and making efforts to better understand past trauma or the daily weight of anxiety and depression, you are deserving of an environment where you can be authentically you and gain support. As an LMFT with 9 years of experience, I provide a trauma-sensitive, neurodiverse-affirming, and LGBTQIA+ celebratory environment. My approach is a blend of reflective listening and skill building. We might use DBT to find immediate relief from overwhelming emotions, or dive into Parts Work (IFS) and Family Systems to help improve overall functioning. Healing shouldn't feel like another task on your lives to-do list. If you’re looking for a therapist who values intersectionality and your lived experience, I’m here to listen.
