About My Clients

I work collaboratively with those who are deeply curious about themselves and motivated to make deep, lasting change. I work with people who have endured all kinds of traumas and a wide range of life challenges and transitions. I am skilled in supporting teens and adults in all life stages who value living the examined life. Clients who seek me out are tired of repeating the same, destructive patterns and are ready for something new to emerge for themselves and their relationships.

My Background and Approach

My goal is to support your increased awareness of the ways you see and understand yourself and the world. We will look at how certain patterns and narratives may affect your current functioning and well-being. Increased awareness and insight can bring a greater sense of agency, empowerment, and movement into your life. The therapy process takes time and we will work to understand who you are, what you’ve been through, and where you’re coming from. We will create a non-judgmental, safe, and consistent space where uncomfortable feelings can be shared and where all parts of you are welcomed. Therapy is a process of creating meaning out of our lives, of finding something new about ourselves and our history, and of being able to say and think about the unsaid. My approach prioritizes your aspirations for healing and a greater sense of wholeness. We will work to understand the unconscious dynamics that keep you stuck and repeating old patterns.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I highly value humility, kindness, patience, and curiosity in this work. Our work together will be grounded in non-judgmental exploration, your embodied experience, your inherent wisdom and basic goodness, your early life, and being with complexity and uncertainty. My commitment to you is providing a space free of judgment where you can speak freely and openly and say the things that are the most difficult to say aloud. I may challenge you, at times, to support your growth and development. My hope is that the therapeutic relationship we build together provides you with a sense of safety and support to be your authentic self. I radically welcome and affirm all the beautiful, unique, and diverse ways you may identify and express yourself. All genders, sexualities, relationship orientations, abilities, and body sizes are welcome! My practice is LGBTQIA2S+ celebrating, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and intersectional feminist.
