About My Clients
I work with individuals and couples that may be struggling with a wide variety of issues. My specialties include depression, anxiety, grief, stress, and chronic/terminal illness. I vow to meet you where you are, no matter what you are dealing with.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical social worker in Michigan. In undergrad, I attended Hope College, where I studied social work and psychology. I received my master’s degree from Western Michigan University, focusing on clinical social work. My clinical skills utilize eclectic techniques drawn from Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and many others. My number one goal for those I work with is to help them feel seen and heard. The second is to support, counsel, and help develop meaningful change and growth. Genuineness and sincere interactions are what you will get with me. I will be here to support you towards being and becoming your best self!
