About My Clients
I primarily work with clients navigating mood disorders, anxiety, self-esteem, wanting to healthy boundaries in relationships, and set personal goals. My ideal client is someone who is tired of being comfortable with chaos and ready to change what isn’t working. I’ll meet you where you are, without judgment, but I won’t leave you there. We’ll navigate challenges together, build on your strengths, set realistic goals, and work toward a life that feels more manageable, balanced, and fulfilling.
My Background and Approach
My approach is rooted in humanistic psychology and informed by CBT. I focus on your strengths, recognize progress even in small steps, and provide both genuine support and thoughtful challenge. I’ll listen, offer perspective, and help you explore emotions, regulate them, and challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll work toward understanding the root of what you’re experiencing, building self-worth, safely processing difficult experiences, breaking negative cycles, managing anxiety and panic spirals, recognizing mood patterns, and setting goals that feel attainable. You’ll get a supportive therapeutic relationship along with concrete tools you can use outside of therapy. I also recognize that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. If a different approach or additional modality within my scope would better support your needs, I’m willing to adapt so your treatment fits you—not the other way around.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m an easygoing, open-minded person who believes life doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. I value honesty, communication, growth, and accountability. I believe self-awareness can be a strength when we use it to grow rather than stay stuck. My goal as a therapist is for clients to come into sessions with challenges and leave with a clearer understanding and a plan for what comes next. I’m easy to talk to and approach people with curiosity rather than judgment, even when our experiences or views of the world are different. I believe everyone deserves to be respected and comfortable being themselves in therapy. Outside of the office, I spend time with my two children, enjoy gardening and fishing, gaming on my console, getting creative, and occasionally binge-watching a good show. I think therapy can be a place for real conversations, a little humor, and meaningful change.
