Originally developed for people suffering from Borderline Personality Disorder, I believe this modality has concepts that help all of us! The number one tool here is mindfulness, which can help us slow things down in order to understand what is happening in the moment, and identify what is the most healthy response.
My favorite way of working includes the body. When the body mind connection are recognized, you access your wisest self. You also experience an improvement in mood, a decrease in anxiety, and experience more fulfilling connections with yourself and with others.

Many clients report feeling more connected to themselves when they feel more connected to their spirituality. I enjoy working with people who find their spirituality is important to them. I explore these beliefs with clients, and include them in their treatment, when clients feel it useful. My background is especially suited for people who subscribe to eastern spiritual beliefs, but I can also work with those aligned with western beliefs.
