Through the therapeutic relationship I can help you untangle your experiences, learn and implement new insight and skills, and access and utilize your unique strengths. I am also able to support clients dealing with pet loss including behavioral euthanasia.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I am also certified in Equine-facilitated Psychotherapy, a trauma-informed relational and experiential therapy model that incorporates the therapeutic value of horses into individual and group sessions. I use a person-centered and relational approach and treatment is tailored to your unique life experiences. A strength-based focus reinforces what is working well for you while exploring what could be improved to help you make the changes that support your treatment goals. Anti-racist.
