About My Clients
Clients find me to be personable, understanding, non-judgmental, & welcoming. I enjoy the time I spend working with clients & hope that my clients find the time valuable as well. I have spent a lot of time working with mood disorders & other mental health concerns. The specialties I work with are trauma and peri- and postpartum depression/anxiety.
My Background and Approach
I believe in taking a client-centered & solution-focused approach to help you address the issues that bring you to counseling & to help you explore aspects of your life that need either resolution or changes. I often do CBT with clients & will pull from other frameworks too. I have nearly 20 years of experience providing mental health counseling to adolescents, adults, & families. I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker & received my Master of Social Work degree from The Ohio State University.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Counseling can be a gradual process. But often, we’re able to see and feel the positive effects of making changes and caring for ourselves. I always commend people for taking their first step toward making a change- so thank you for visiting and hope to hear from you soon
