About My Clients

I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, and emotional overwhelm. I enjoy working with clients who want to better understand their emotions, build confidence, improve relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping. I also work with parents who are feeling overwhelmed by the demands of family life and wand want support finding more balance.

My Background and Approach

I attended the University of South Carolina for my undergraduate degree and Wake Forest University for my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Originally from the DC area, I enjoy getting to know people from different backgrounds and learning about the experiences that have shaped them. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, with a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based techniques. I believe therapy should be a comfortable space to better understand your thoughts and emotions while learning practical tools to create meaningful change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone has the ability to grow and make meaningful changes in their lives, even when things feel overwhelming or stuck. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel accepted for who you are and comfortable being honest about what you’re experiencing. I also believe that understanding the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors can be incredibly powerful. At the same time, I believe in giving yourself compassion and recognizing that change takes time. Most importantly, I believe you know yourself best, and my role is to support you rather than tell you how to live your life.
