About My Clients
“We don’t hear much about how painful it is to go from being completely stuck to becoming unstuck. The process of becoming unstuck requires tremendous bravery, because basically we are completely changing our way of perceiving reality, like changing our DNA.”- Pema Chödron (1997)
My Background and Approach
My work focuses on identifying and addressing problematic patterns in your life—both past and present—while equipping you with practical tools to manage current challenges. I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from both psychodynamic principles and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). The psychodynamic lens helps explore how your past experiences and relational patterns shape your present interactions, while DBT offers concrete skills to manage emotional distress, reduce impulsivity, and cultivate mindfulness.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the core of my practice is the belief that meaningful change begins with genuine insight. When we understand the roots of our emotional responses, we gain the freedom to engage with life in new and healthier ways. I work with adults and emerging adults navigating a wide range of emotional, relational, and behavioral concerns.
