About My Clients
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and a nervous system that won't settle. Many clients manage chronic conditions like POTS, Long COVID, EDS, and autoimmune illness where dysregulation complicates an already hard picture. I also support neurodivergent adults, highly sensitive people, and those who've done real work in talk therapy but still feel their body hasn't caught up to what their mind knows. We move at the pace your nervous system actually needs.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), with a Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago. My clinical training centers on body-based, trauma-informed approaches to healing. I'm a certified Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) provider, a music-based therapy that supports nervous system regulation and pairs well with Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and traditional talk therapy. I'm also trained in Trauma-Focused CBT and hold certification in working with Highly Sensitive People. My approach blends rigorous clinical training with attunement to each client's pace, history, and goals. I believe in following what your body is already trying to tell you, and helping you learn to trust it again.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the body holds real wisdom, and that lasting change happens through embodiment and not insight alone. You can understand your patterns perfectly and still feel stuck. Since the nervous system operates beneath conscious thought, and healing has to reach it there. I believe safety is the foundation all other healing is built on. Before we can process, integrate, or grow, the nervous system needs to know it's not in danger. I believe pacing belongs to the client, not the clinician. You know your own capacity better than I do, and my job is to support that knowing, not override it.
