About My Clients
Life can feel overwhelming—especially when anxiety, depression, or hopelessness take over. You deserve a space to reclaim your sense of self, find clarity, and begin the journey toward healing. You are allowed to take up space! You are strong and resilient. You can live a life that is fulfilling, and you deserve to know that you have value. You deserve to have hope for the future and to feel empowered about who you are. You are the expert of your own life—but you don’t have to navigate it alone.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating complex trauma, including experiences rooted in childhood, family, and relationships. I also work with clients experiencing issues related to LGBTQIA+ (such as stress, acceptance or identity), self-esteem, attachment, anxiety, and depression. I am trained in Trauma Focused CBT and utilize approaches from Narrative Therapy, Attachment Therapy, and Person Centered Therapy. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that healing is possible. Together, we can unlearn harmful patterns, heal from past wounds, and build tools for resilience and self-acceptance.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves access to therapy and mental health support, regardless of their background and circumstance. Every person has a right to take up space, to feel confident in who they are, and to be recognized as the expert in their own life. I believe that grief may never fully leave us, but we can carry it with compassion and strength. Healing is possible, and growth can happen even from the most painful experiences. When we go through something traumatic, I reject the idea of asking "what is wrong with you" and instead hold space for the question "what happened to you?" I stand firmly for equality, equity, and justice. I believe in ending systemic racism and creating inclusive spaces that honor all identities. As a member of the LGBTQIA community, I believe in the importance of visibility, representation, and safety for everyone.
