About My Clients
I enjoy collaborating with people who are trying to work towards more meaning and connection in their lives and want to align more deeply with their values and explore blocks to getting there. I specialize in trauma and grief and also perinatal mental health and am committed to helping people through transitions across the lifespan. I treat children, adults, and couples and am also passionate about group therapy.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who fell in love with psychology while studying at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME where I majored in English and Theater and minored in Psychology, graduating cum laude in 2003. I then attended Antioch University New England where I obtained my Masters in Clinical Psychology in 2006 followed by my Doctorate in 2008. I completed my internship at the University of Rochester in NY and my postdoctoral training at the VA Hospital in Bedford, MA where I specialized in trauma and grief. I then worked in the Fayetteville VA Hospital before joining Lucy Daniels Center and returning to some of my early roots in child and family work. This inspired my interest in perinatal mental health and I chose to become certified as both a Circle of Security Facilitator (COSP) and a Perinatal Mental Health provider (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. In 2023, I was also trained in Brainspotting, a body based trauma treatment.
