About My Clients

My clients often feel stuck in painful or repetitive patterns and want deeper connection, clearer communication, and a stronger sense of self. Many are navigating relationship stress, identity shifts, or the lingering impact of family dynamics. Many are motivated for growth, even if unsure where to start. They want relationships that feel safer, more grounded, and aligned with who they’re becoming.

My Background and Approach

My work centers on helping individuals & couples strengthen connection—both with themselves and with the people who matter most. I take a systemic, trauma-informed approach that considers how family dynamics, culture, & social expectations shape identity & relationships. With couples, I draw from the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, focusing on differentiation & supporting partners in breaking reactive cycles, improving communication, and deepening intimacy. I also help clients build emotional & nervous-system regulation through mindfulness, self-compassion, & body-based awareness. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate supervised by Dr. Nicole Van Ness, LMFT-S, & Bridget Jowid, LMFT-S. My background includes over two decades in corporate & nonprofit leadership, experience that helps me connect with clients navigating complex roles & transitions. My style is warm, inclusive, & collaborative, creating space for authentic growth & meaningful ch

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens when we feel safe enough to be honest about what hurts and brave enough to imagine something different. Our stories, identities, and family systems shape us—but they don’t have to define our future. Growth is always possible, even when we’re not sure where to begin. Personally, I’m nourished by mindfulness practice, movement, and time in nature. I care deeply about equity and inclusion and show up for LGBTQ+ and marginalized communities both personally and professionally. Outside of work, I love long walks with my dog, Mabel, exploring local Dallas spots, and cheering on Ohio State football.
