About My Clients
You're intelligent, intuitive, and deeply self-aware. You know your patterns, your wounds, your blocks. You've probably spent years trying to understand them. And yet, you still find yourself pleasing, performing, overthinking, or choosing what everyone else needs over what you know is true for you. Somewhere beneath all that competence is a woman who wants her life back. You don't need another explanation, you need a way to work with what's keeping you from being fully YOU.
My Background and Approach
I've spent nearly two decades helping women navigate change, and one thing I've learned is this: understanding why you do something doesn't necessarily stop you from doing it. I'm not a sit-back-and-nod therapist. I'm engaged, curious, direct, and deeply invested in helping you move beyond the stories you already know by heart. My work integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed parts work, somatic therapy, and depth-oriented psychotherapy. Rather than relying on insight alone, we'll explore what's happening beneath your thoughts—in your body, your emotional responses, and the protective patterns that once served you but may now be keeping you stuck. We won't simply identify the blocks. We'll work with them. My goal isn't for you to become dependent on me for answers. It's to help you reconnect with your own knowing, intuition, voice, and capacity to choose—so you can live a life that feels genuinely yours.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe there's a difference between living a life that looks successful and living one that feels authentically yours. I believe the parts of ourselves we've learned to hide, silence, or override aren't flaws to fix. They often hold the stories of how we learned to survive, belong, and be loved. I believe we can spend decades becoming exceptionally good at being who the world needs us to be—and still ache for the person we haven't yet given ourselves permission to become. And I believe it's never too late to change that. I'm drawn to curiosity, courage, authenticity, and the messy, beautiful process of becoming more fully ourselves. Outside the therapy room, you'll find me in the mountains, on my mountain or gravel bike, practicing yoga, or taking adventurous van trips. I don't believe therapy should make you better at tolerating a life in which you've disappeared. I believe it should help you unapologetically find your way back into it.
