About My Clients
My clients are often navigating life in bigger bodies, living with ADHD or other forms of neurodivergence, or exploring their relationship with substances or anger. Many identify as LGBTQ+ and come from diverse cultural backgrounds. They’re looking for a space that feels safe, affirming, and free of judgment—where their full identity is seen and respected. My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with years of experience supporting folks through life transitions, substance use, body image concerns, neurodivergence, and emotional regulation. My style is warm, collaborative, and real—I’m not a blank slate, and I don’t expect you to be either. I draw from a trauma-informed, culturally responsive foundation and integrate tools from approaches like parts work (IFS), motivational interviewing, and CBT when it fits. I also bring a strong social justice lens to therapy, including fat liberation, harm reduction, and LGBTQ+ affirming care. My goal is to create a space where all parts of you are welcome, and where we work together to create meaningful, sustainable shifts in your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside the therapy room, I care deeply about animal welfare, community care, and social justice. I support movements like Health at Every Size (HAES), Black Lives Matter, and harm reduction advocacy. I’ve done my own work in these areas, too—both personally and professionally—and I strive to show up with authenticity, compassion, and accountability. I take an anti-zionist lens and support equity and inclusion.
