About My Clients
I greatly enjoy working with adults (18+) who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community and/or folks navigating gender identity, perfectionism, life transitions, anxiety, and self-worth/self-compassion. I thrive when working with those who are motivated, curious, and who identify as deep thinkers and deep feelers. I have experience and passion for working with individuals in higher education, whether as students, faculty, or staff.
My Background and Approach
At its core, my therapeutic approach is client-centered, trauma-informed, liberatory, and collaborative. I strive to be a steady and warm presence, a good listener, and to create a space where folks feel deeply accepted, understood, and valued. I approach the therapeutic relationship with gentle curiosity, compassion, authenticity, and a touch of humor. The modalities I use the most include narrative therapy, self-compassion work, DBT, and ACT. I care deeply about social justice and bring an anti-oppressive, feminist, and queer lens to my work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I truly believe in the human capacity to heal. It is my deepest honor and passion to partner with folks who are eager to embark upon their healing journey. If what I have written resonates with you, please feel free to reach out to me. I look forward to hearing from you! Please note I only offer virtual therapy sessions at this time.
