About My Clients
I work with autistic and ADHD adults, LGBTQ+ clients, and people recovering from complex trauma. Many of my clients are high-masking, sensitive, and reflective. They may struggle with anxiety, burnout, identity, or relationships, and are looking for therapy that is affirming, collaborative, and grounded in real understanding.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults and couples navigating neurodivergence, trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+-affirming. I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), along with somatic and mindfulness-based practices when helpful. I pay close attention to attachment patterns, nervous system regulation, and the ways people adapt to survive difficult experiences. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and paced to your needs. Together, we focus on building self-understanding, emotional regulation, and meaningful, sustainable change in daily life and relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people make sense in the context of their experiences. Many of the struggles clients bring to therapy—anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, or feeling stuck—are not signs of weakness, but adaptations that once helped them cope, survive, or belong. Therapy is not about fixing what is “wrong,” but about understanding these patterns with compassion and developing new ways of living that feel more authentic and sustainable. I believe healing happens in the presence of safety, curiosity, and genuine connection. When people feel seen and accepted, they are more able to take risks, process painful experiences, and move toward meaningful change. I also believe that therapy should honor neurodiversity, identity, culture, and lived experience. Each person’s nervous system, history, and way of relating to the world is unique, and therapy should be flexible, collaborative, and respectful of that individuality.
