About My Clients
I work with cancer survivors and people living with hereditary cancer risk/genetic mutations like BRCA1, BRCA2, CHEK2, PALB2, or Lynch syndrome. My clients often face medical anxiety, decision fatigue, and identity shifts around risk-reducing surgery, fertility, and family communication. Together we focus on finding steadiness, healing trauma, and rebuilding trust in their bodies and choices.
My Background and Approach
My work draws from interpersonal neurobiology, somatic awareness, and relational psychodynamic therapy, helping clients move from chronic uncertainty and fear into grounded clarity and self-trust. I am certified as a Master Therapist in the NeuroAffective Relational Model and am certified in InfraSlow Neurofeedback (in-person only). I’ve trained extensively in trauma and medical psychology, with experience supporting individuals with medical PTSD, facing risk-reducing surgery, fertility decisions, and family communication challenges. Clients describe our work as compassionate and steadying — a space to process grief, body image, intimacy, and identity shifts that medical systems often overlook. Whether you’re a cancer survivor, a previvor, newly navigating genetic testing, or adjusting after surgery, I help you reconnect with your body, your relationships, and your sense of possibility — so you can live meaningfully, even with risk.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I see hereditary cancer risk not only as a source of fear, but as a profound portal into healing and aliveness. When our bodies confront the reality of genetic vulnerability, we’re invited into deeper connection — with ourselves, our lineage, and what truly matters. This work is about claiming life, not just managing risk. As a queer mother, I understand the layered experience of parenting, identity, and embodiment while living with these realities. I’m passionate about supporting the gender-expansive community and anyone who feels unseen in mainstream “women’s care” — people whose stories of courage, transition, and choice deserve space and dignity. I believe healing happens when we’re met in our wholeness — body, history, and heart — and when our identities are honored as central to the story of our resilience.
