About My Clients
My clients are often experiencing daily overwhelm in a way that leads to either emotional reactivity or avoidance. They might also struggle with keeping up with life, day to day tasks, conflict in relationships, struggles with communication/speaking up, or navigating how to work with their brain or body in a way that feels more calm, motivated, and intentional.
My Background and Approach
If you are exhausted from constantly trying to manage tasks, emotions, relationships, or internal conflicts that feel overwhelming, confusing, or stuck, we may be a good fit. I tend to be more open and honest while also understanding that you know you better than anyone else. In our work together, we will gently explore the parts of you that may be in conflict with each other through a framework called Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also integrate tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help with building emotional flexibility in a neurodivergent-affirming way, because every brain is different! Many of our struggles live in the body as well as the mind, I also bring in somatic (body) and trauma-focused approaches. These can support you in processing stuck experiences and reconnecting with your body safely and at your own pace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in both the power of community and living in your individual truth and authenticity! I feel honored to support clients through their life journeys. I stay committed as a therapist and clinical social worker to continually learning and unlearning. Feel free to ask me questions about things like my political and social beliefs and values.
