I am a clinical social worker that specializes in gender and sexual health, with a background in curriculum development, social justice education, youth work, music performance, interfaith dialogue, inpatient mental health, outpatient mental health, crisis stabilization, and medical social work. I believe that mental health and healing are connected to one's personal and social ecosystem, attachment history, somatic awareness, values, and intersecting identities.
My Background and Approach
I am a clinical social worker that specializes in gender and sexual health, with a background in curriculum development, social justice education, youth work, music performance, interfaith dialogue, inpatient mental health, outpatient mental health, crisis stabilization, and medical social work. My therapeutic approach is rooted in an anti-oppressive, healing justice lens aimed towards creating a collaborative and authentic space to foster radical holistic healing. Theoretically, I draw from an eclectic array of principles and modalities from dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), narrative, to somatic experiencing, and health at every size.
