Working with me means having a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your lived experience. I believe you are the expert on your life, and my role is to help you understand patterns, build insight, and develop tools that feel realistic and sustainable for you. Our work will be collaborative, paced to your comfort level, and grounded in safety and trust.
My Background and Approach
Therapy goals are something we develop together. Early on, I spend time getting to know what brought you in, what you’re hoping will feel different, and what hasn’t worked in the past. Some clients come in with very clear goals, while others just know something feels “off” - both are completely okay. We revisit goals regularly and adjust them as needed. Sometimes goals become more specific over time, and sometimes they shift as we uncover deeper patterns or new priorities. The process is flexible, collaborative, and paced so that it feels supportive rather than overwhelming. Humor is a natural part of how I connect with clients. I believe laughter can soften hard moments, reduce shame, and make difficult conversations feel more approachable. While I take your experiences seriously, I don’t believe therapy has to feel heavy all the time. Thoughtful, well-timed humor often helps create a space that feels more relaxed, authentic, and human.
