About My Clients
Since obtaining my master’s degree , I have practiced in various clinical settings; inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings, working with multiple populations that include children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric. I now provides individual therapy for children and adolescents who are struggling with severe anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, family and relationship stress, anger management, Oppositional and Defiant behaviors, and ADHD.
My Background and Approach
I believe it is important the every client truly feels heard and the therapist meet them where they are. She believes in empowering her clients through evidenced based approaches like Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectial Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing happens in spaces where people feel deeply seen, heard, and respected. At the core of my work is the belief that every person deserves dignity, safety, and compassion — regardless of their background, identity, or life story. I am committed to practicing through a lens of cultural humility, social justice, and inclusivity. I affirm and support people of color, neurodivergent individuals, and those whose identities have been marginalized or misunderstood. I believe therapy should actively challenge systems of oppression rather than ignore them, and I strive to create a space where clients can show up as their full, authentic selves. I value curiosity over judgment, collaboration over hierarchy, and empowerment over pathology. I see my clients as the experts of their own lives, and I work alongside them to reconnect with their strengths, resilience, and inner wisdom. Outside of the therapy room, I believe in community care and giving back.
