About My Clients
My ideal client isn’t defined by a diagnosis or background—but by a willingness to show up, even if things feel messy, uncertain, or hard. I work best with individuals who are curious about their inner world and open to growth, even when it feels vulnerable or unfamiliar.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I bring both clinical training and real-world experience to our work together. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, and I’ve spent the past 20 years helping individuals and families navigate anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My background includes work in community mental health, private practice, and integrated care settings—environments that taught me how deeply personal and diverse each healing journey can be. This breadth of experience allows me to adapt our work to your specific needs, whether you’re looking for practical coping tools, a space to unpack old wounds, or support through a life shift.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Beyond my clinical training, I’m someone who deeply values authenticity, empathy, and human connection. I believe that healing happens in safe, respectful spaces—where people are seen not just for their struggles, but for their courage, complexity, and capacity to grow. I’m passionate about mental health equity and supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds and identities. I strive to offer a space that is inclusive and affirming—especially for those who have historically felt overlooked or misunderstood in therapy. I am LGBTQ+ affirming, trauma-informed, and deeply committed to cultural humility in my practice. I believe in the power of storytelling, mindfulness, and community, and often draw from these values in my approach. I also support causes related to social justice, mental health access, and compassionate care for caregivers, aging adults, and marginalized communities.
