My Background and Approach
I have been working with adults since 1999. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of CT. My treatment approach is very interactive and dynamic. I offer feedback and share my personal experiences when I feel it can help complement your process. Cognitive behavioral therapy is my modality of choice. I am first generation American and am fluent in Portuguese. I have insight into the challenges that cultural assimilation can pose and am happy to work through these issues with you if it's relevant to your journey. I look forward to hearing from you!
