About My Clients
I provide non-judgmental care for Sexual and Gender Outsiders. *NOTE* I do NOT return phone calls without a Voicemail message requesting a return call and letting me know if it is safe to leave a message. My additional clinical specialties involve working with chronically ill and high-achieving clients who struggle with impostor syndrome and perfectionism. I am currently accepting new clients.
My Background and Approach
I work with LGBTQ/NB/kinky/polyamorous communities. Trauma-informed, but I don't assume that your identity stems from trauma, or your problems stem from your identity. You are a person, not a problem. I also help people to feel safe in their bodies, including the chronically ill. I offer support for high achievers who struggle with impostor syndrome. I work from an Existential-Feminist perspective, which means I value authenticity, frankness, warmth, and humor in the therapy relationship. I recognize that we aren't always responsible for our circumstances, but believe we are responsible for our choices and their outcomes. I work especially well with bright, focused, more cognitive individuals.
