About My Clients

If you’re tired of walking on eggshells and don’t know how to repair your relationship, I can help you get to the root of your disconnection. I help distressed, disconnected couples remember what it's like to be sexy best friends instead of roommates. Together, we will identify your entrenched ways of arguing so that both of you can break these patterns by learning how to clearly state how you’re feeling to your partner and in turn, listen deeply. I'll help you pay close attention to each other.

My Background and Approach

I specialize in couples therapy. I have been practicing for 6 years. I am trained in ISTDP, PACT, IFS and EMDR. My meditation practice helps me regulate myself so I can show up for you in high conflict situations and help your voice get heard. As a therapist, I am comfortable at taking a directive stance, especially when working with high conflict relationships. I function as mediator, referee, motivator and therapist. My clients say they rely on me for help translating to their partner and as an unbiased third party who doesn't take sides. My focus on depth of feeling to create transformational experiences in therapy brings powerful results. I am committed to ongoing training and supervision as a professional. I value collaboration with other therapists--I regularly speak with other mental health professionals working with my clients.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My personal beliefs are guided by my firsthand experiences in deep meditation on many retreats and through my daily meditative practice. I am a dedicated Vipassana practitioner in the tradition of S.N. Goenka since 2018. I attempt to live with the 5 moral precepts and seek truth in everything that I do. I try to weave meditative wisdom into my practice as a therapist. I find that the focus and persistence in the face of difficulty, as well as unyielding optimism, that my Vipassana practice has taught me are very helpful for my clients.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
I have experience with the following

  • The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
