My Background and Approach
My approach psychodynamic (the belief in the existence of the unconscious; that early experiences, including the social/cultural context in which one is born, are directly related with current ways of feeling and behaving; that ways of feeling and thinking about one self are organized around relationships with others) and relational (the belief that the relationship between the patient and the therapist has the potential for understanding and working through the relational difficulties which the person has suffered in life).
