Do you find yourself talking to AI at midnight, trying to make sense of your life? ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini can take you very far, but there's a gap they can't close. . If you live in your head, AI may make it easier to stay there. Its explanations satisfy, but the ache doesn't go away. A real human therapist can navigate the terrain alongside you, rather than just handing you the map.
My Background and Approach
Licensed since 2015, with nearly two decades in mental health and human services, including 12 years doing emergency psychiatric assessments in the ER. Very little rattles me and I'm comfortable with complexity and crisis. I've lived and worked in Latin America, which has shaped how I see people and their struggles. In my own life I'm a parent and partner who has sat on the other side of a medical diagnosis, so I know what it means to have the ground shift under you. I haven't given up on the people in this work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Whoever you are, whatever you believe, whoever you love, wherever you come from — you won't need to explain yourself here to get good help. I work with people from every background, belief system, political orientation, and identity. I identify as a healthcare provider first. LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples are genuinely welcome here. So are people whose lives are rooted in faith, conventional values, and traditional frameworks. Those two things are not in conflict in this practice. You will face zero agenda or judgment here.
