My Background and Approach
I aim to help you think about and overcome the unique challenges in your life. I work collaboratively in goal setting, problem solving, and uncovering the factors that drive your distressing feelings, thoughts, and/or behaviors. In sessions, I value explorations of your personal history, experiences with primary caregivers, and relational patterns, in addition to concerns you might have about death, meaning, and personal responsibility. At the same time, however, I believe that flexibility in approach and conversation—tailored to your needs—is essential for a successful treatment.

I am warm, validating, and guided by a deep-seated respect and appreciation for all individuals (LGBTQIA+ friendly and affirming). I consider you the expert on your experiences and the predicaments in which you find yourself.
