About My Clients
Even without the stigma around mental health/therapy, reaching out can still feel like a big, vulnerable step, especially if you’re used to being the one who holds everything together for everyone else. It can be hard to shift from that role and admit you might need support, too. Many of my clients I work with come in feeling the same way: stretched thin, quietly struggling with anxiety or relationships, or carrying a lingering sense of not quite belonging.
My Background and Approach
"I know what it's like to sit in a therapy room and feel like your whole world needs translating. I built this practice so no one has to feel that way." My work focuses on supporting adults who are navigating complex emotions, relationships, and life changes, often while carrying a lot on their own. Given my identities, I am deeply aware of how cultural values, family dynamics, and unspoken expectations can shape the way we see ourselves and relate to others. I meet you where you are and use what actually helps. My approach is collaborative, relational, and tailored to support you. I'm drawn to the relational side of therapy, to the space between people, and what happens there. I believe that many of the patterns that drain us most were actually adaptations that made sense at some point; the people-pleasing, the over-functioning, the shrinking. In our work together, we try to slow down enough to understand where those patterns came from and begin to build a different narrative.
