About My Clients
I work best with adults who are thoughtful and self-aware, even if they feel overwhelmed right now. Many struggle with anxiety, relationship stress, identity questions, or loneliness. Some feel pressure to always have it together. I especially value working with men exploring their emotional world and LGBTQ clients seeking an affirming space. My clients want more than quick advice. They want to understand themselves and make real changes.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My work is influenced by existential and relational perspectives, with a focus on identity, meaning, and the patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others. In session, I am direct, calm, and collaborative. We look at patterns in how you think, relate, and cope, and we work on specific skills that help you feel more grounded outside the therapy room. I care about helping you build insight and actually apply it. Therapy should not feel scripted or clinical. It should feel honest, focused, and useful.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it is real and relational. Change happens when you understand yourself more clearly and practice something different, not just when you receive advice. I care about creating a space that respects culture, identity, and lived experience. I value intellectual curiosity and conversations that go beneath the surface. I am committed to affirming LGBTQ clients and supporting men who are learning to engage more openly with their emotional lives.
