About My Clients
I take a creative, client-centered approach, drawing mainly from CBT and DBT. Treatment often involves identifying unhelpful thought patterns and building practical tools you can use both in and outside of therapy. My goal is to make therapy work for you—your needs, your pace, your life. In our work together, we'll challenge unhelpful thought patterns and build a personalized set of tools to support you both in and outside of sessions.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sacred Heart University and specialize in working with individuals navigating chronic or terminal illness, menstrual health concerns, disabilities, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Whether you're facing a new diagnosis, processing past pain, or just trying to get through each day, I’m here to walk alongside you, with empathy and care. My approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect for your unique story. I use a client-centered, strength-based framework and draw from CBT, DBT, and mindfulness practices to support meaningful growth—because no two healing journeys are the same. While I’m early in my professional journey, my training, internship experience, and life perspective have deeply prepared me for this work. Starting therapy with someone new can feel uncertain, and I understand that—because I’m growing in this role, too. I invite you to explore this process alongside me.
