About My Clients
Many of my clients are adults who feel overwhelmed, stressed, or emotionally drained and aren’t sure where to start. You may be struggling with persistent worry, low mood, trouble focusing, irritability, or changes in sleep and motivation. You want to feel more in control, more grounded, and more like yourself again. I work with individuals who are ready for compassionate support and a clear plan to improve their mental health.
My Background and Approach
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than a decade of clinical experience supporting individuals through emotional and mental health challenges. My background includes 11+ years of nursing in a fast-paced emergency department in Newark, NJ where I cared for adults in crisis and developed a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered mental health treatment. These experiences taught me how to listen closely, respond calmly, and create a safe space where clients feel understood. In my practice, I combine medication management with talk therapy to help clients understand the “why” behind what they’re experiencing and to build practical strategies for relief. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative—focused on helping you gain clarity, regulate your emotions, and feel more grounded. Whether you are experiencing stress, mood changes, anxiety, or simply feeling out of balance, my goal is to provide evidence based care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves a space where they can be heard, respected, and supported without judgment. Mental health challenges can feel isolating, but I see them as experiences that can be understood, managed, and healed with the right support. I value compassion, transparency, and building genuine connection with the clients I serve. I approach care through a lens that honors your personal experiences, cultural background, and individual strengths. I am committed to creating an inclusive and safe space for adults from all walks of life. I support mental health advocacy, access to care, and reducing the stigma around seeking help—especially in communities where mental health conversations are often overlooked. My goal is to empower clients to understand themselves more deeply and feel confident in their ability to grow.
