About My Clients
Do you feel on edge all the time or frequently misunderstood? Does it seem like no one truly understands your situation or how your brain works? I may be a good fit for you. I work with clients facing difficult life circumstances that can leave them feeling as though life is happening to them. From anxiety and depression to complex relationship dynamics, I support clients in self-exploration so they can face challenges in a direct, empowered way.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in psychiatric care, school settings, and private practice. For the past three years, I have provided individual counseling with a focus on helping clients recognize that while life can be profoundly challenging due to both internal and external factors, there are always meaningful steps we can take—starting from within ourselves. My therapeutic approach draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Relational Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I also practice from a person-in-environment perspective, meaning I consider the broader context of your life—not just your mental health symptoms. By understanding what is happening in your relationships, environment, and daily stressors, I am able to offer tools and strategies that are personalized, practical, and responsive to your lived experience.
