I have counseled patients through a variety of major life events. Are you going through a major life transition? Perhaps you are experiencing a wanted or unwanted pregnancy, relationship struggles, a job change, career change, a recent major life milestone--a marriage, a birth, a death in your family. Sometimes major life events cause us to feel stressed, sad, hopeless, or have physical symptoms. Often this type of reaction and difficulty coping is unexpected. I can support you through this.

I have been working in the perinatal mental health field for the past 5 years. I have completed a training with the Postpartum Support International and an advanced training in perinatal mental health. If you are struggling with a mood change in pregnancy or post-partum, I want you to know that you are not alone; this is not your fault; and you can and will get better. Your first step is reaching out and getting support and I am here for you.

I have been working with women and in women's health for almost as long as I have been a clinician. Women are more likely to have been treated for a mental health concern than men. Perhaps, this is due to more willingness to seek help or other factors such as stressors and expectations upon us. I value you and your experience, whatever that is and I am here to listen and help you get better.
