About My Clients
I am an LEP who works with youth, teens, and young adults. I also work with the families and caregivers that support them. My background is in working with neurodiverse individuals. I have worked within the public education system for the past decade specializing in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
My Background and Approach
I am passionate about providing counseling services to support neurodiverse individuals in gaining self-awareness, self-acceptance, and tools for self-advocacy. I also offer assessment services to support individuals in gaining adequate supports in school or in the workplace. Finally, I offer educational consultation services to help families navigate IEPs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
After working in education for a decade, I have seen first hand how hard it can be to navigate systems that were not designed with diverse learners in mind. I aim to equip my clients with tools to navigate these systems, while not diminishing their strengths, individuality, and lived experiences. Please reach out if you think I can be of support!
