About My Clients
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can fully exhale and show up as yourself without feeling like you have to explain every part of your identity. I value honesty, humor, curiosity, and creating a relationship that feels real and collaborative. My work is grounded in the belief that our relationships, identities, past experiences, and the systems around us all impact how we move through the world.
My Background and Approach
I use EFT to help clients navigate relationship changes that illness can bring. I incorporate Internal Family Systems to help clients explore parts of themselves shaped by pain, grief, and body trust. Together, we will navigate the complexities of your experiences, whether they involve trauma, or grief. I am committed to helping you build on your strengths, understand your patterns, and develop strategies that promote healing and growth. You don't have to figure this out alone. And if I'm not the right fit, I'll help find someone who is!
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have always believed that the stories we carry shape how we move through the world and how we connect with others. What began as a personal journey grew into a professional calling. Through my experiences in both medical and academic spaces, I became aware of what was often missing. Conversations about sexuality, intimacy, and disability were frequently absent or treated as secondary. I also saw how medical trauma can quietly shape relationships, impacting trust, communication, and attachment in ways that are not always easy to name. I deeply value community and believe healing happens best when people feel connected, understood, and supported. I’m especially passionate about creating affirming spaces for neurodivergent individuals where differences are respected rather than pathologized. I don’t believe there is one “right” way to communicate, process emotions, or build relationships, and I work to help clients move in ways that fit their own nervous system and lived experience.
