About My Clients
Have you been caught in the cycle of overworking and losing yourself in your relationships? Do you find it overwhelming to navigate life's stresses while striving to build meaningful connections with others? I understand how exhausting these challenges can be. Therapy offers a powerful space for healing, where you can explore your true self and envision who you aspire to become. I look forward to supporting you on this transformative journey.
My Background and Approach
I earned my B.A. in Neuroscience at the University of Southern California, where my interest in the mind-body connection truly began. Working in medicine, I saw how closely mental and physical health are linked, which inspired me to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My diverse experiences allow me to effectively support individuals and families on their journey to holistic health. In our sessions, I tailor my approach to your unique needs, focusing on practical skills for managing emotions and exploring the roots of your patterns. I see therapy as a way for you to gain deeper self-understanding and insight, leading to a more fulfilling and mindful life. I’m here to help you navigate your challenges and find a path to well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the therapeutic relationship formed with my clients can be in and of itself a healing experience and really a branching-off point towards the road of self-discovery. The therapy room is truly a safe space to explore who you are and who you want to become. The type of therapy I do comes from gaining an understanding of why something is happening in the first place. Rather than put a Band-Aid on it, I like to get to the root of the issue in order to create an opportunity for change and a new experience.
