About My Clients

Is your child or teen anxious, sensitive, or overwhelmed by change? I help young people manage big feelings, navigate transitions, and build confidence. Using play, talk, and family support, I create a safe space to explore emotions and develop real coping skills. You don’t have to face this alone—and neither do they.

My Background and Approach

I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT149544) with a passion for supporting children, teens, families, and individuals. I believe meaningful change in therapy begins with a strong, trusting relationship, and I strive to create a space where every client feels seen, heard, and supported. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, rooted in building rapport and tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs. I hold an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. My experience spans diverse settings—community mental health, schools, homes, hospitals, and behavioral intervention—where I’ve developed creativity, flexibility, and a deep understanding of client care. I use a blend of person-centered, cognitive- behavioral therapy, EMDR, and Art/Play Therapy approaches. I’m committed to evidence-based practices and lifelong learning, and I bring both clinical skill and heartfelt dedication to my work. Supervised by Jessica Longoria, LMFT.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that healing happens in the context of safe, trusting relationships. As a therapist, I strive to create a space where clients—children, teens, and families—feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. I view each person as the expert of their own experience, and I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and respect. I believe in meeting clients where they are, honoring their strengths, and walking alongside them as they navigate life’s challenges. I value the power of play, creativity, and connection in helping young people express what words often can’t capture. I also believe that families are an essential part of the healing process, and I work collaboratively to support healthy communication and understanding. Guided by evidence-based practices and a commitment to lifelong learning, I hold space for growth, resilience, and transformation. My goal is to support each client in building the confidence and tools they need to thrive—on their terms.
