About My Clients
Are you a teen or adult struggling with daily stress, anxiety, depression, or trauma and looking to get started immediately? Together we can work to build resiliency and health coping skills as well as improve self-image and communication. I am passionate about helping the LGBTQIA+ community. I am also looking to counsel couples looking to strengthen their relationship. I pride myself on providing a relaxed environment where others feel free to be themselves in order to heal and build.
My Background and Approach
For the past two years, I have been working in community based mental health treating a diverse group of people with diverse needs. I have recently completed Level 1 of Gottman Couples Counseling and am in the process of completing the Level 2 training. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients build healthy ways of thinking and coping.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When we were born, we were not gifted an “owner’s manual.” Oftentimes our path is unclear and we are left feeling lost and confused. When stressful or traumatic events occur, we may not always find the comfort we desire. It is with great honor that I offer to walk this part of your journey with you and help you realize the strength you have always held.
