People come to me who are inquisitive and trying their best, yet still feel detached and longing for a better understanding of their lives. I specialize in working with adults seeking to navigate the perinatal period in a meaningful way, explore women’s issues through connection and empowerment, and/or manage feelings of anxiety.
My Background and Approach
I help adults make sense of their experiences in a meaningful way. People come to me who are inquisitive and trying their best, yet still feel detached and longing for a better understanding of their lives. Often times they’ve been in the driver’s seat going 100 miles an hour for years and can’t quite figure out how to slow down. Together, we work to slow fast-paced life, be present with ourselves and others, and ultimately, see the once-blurry scenes in a clearer way. Curious people come to me to gain perspective and see the full picture of life’s scenic travels. Just as each road trip is unique, so too is our tailor-made therapy. My integrative approach to therapy often includes a blend of psychodynamic philosophy (exploring thought and emotional experiences) and existential elements (finding meaning and purpose in life), ultimately tailored to each individual, couple, and group. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I help adults of all backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship structures make meaning of their experiences and explore opportunities for growth. I believe the relationship between client and therapist is the most important part in finding the "right" fit. Our bond helps you explore deeper roots of issues, connect to yourself and others, reengage with your authentic purpose, and create meaning of your life experiences.
