About My Clients
Recovery can feel overwhelming, and I understand how challenging it can be. Whether just beginning recovery or working to maintain sobriety, my clients are often struggling with alcohol and/or drug use. What they want most is stability, healthier coping skills, stronger relationships, and lasting recovery. They may also be navigating challenges such as mental health diagnoses, grief and loss, and/or conflict in their relationships. Their goals often include achieving and/or maintaining sobriety,
My Background and Approach
I support individuals facing substance use disorders, early recovery challenges, co-occurring mental health concerns, and family or relationship conflicts. I tailor each treatment plan to meet a client’s unique needs, using evidence-based approaches to help build coping skills, strengthen relationships, find balance, and move toward long-term recovery. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). CBT offers practical tools to manage thoughts and behaviors, DBT enhances emotional and relationship skills, and MI helps boost motivation for change. I may also integrate other approaches and interventions to best support your journey. These tools guide clients in developing healthier coping strategies and creating lasting recovery. My goal is to provide structure, compassion, and a safe space where you can navigate challenges, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe recovery is possible for everyone, no matter how overwhelming it may feel. Each person’s journey is unique, and I understand that healing works best when therapy is tailored to your individual needs and goals. My approach combines compassion, connection, and evidence-based care, because I stand by the idea that people need both practical tools and emotional support to truly heal. I believe with the right guidance and a safe, supportive space, hope and balance are always within reach, and lasting recovery becomes not only possible but achievable. Most importantly, I am guided by the belief that no one should face recovery alone; I hope you allow me to walk alongside you on your journey.
