About My Clients
My hope is to provide you with a space where you feel safe, and your authentic self. I have been able to provide space for many different types of people whether it is learning to manage in a world that is not quite made for you, or to help by providing an ear to process through, and build internal understandings of your choices, and how you want to move forward. If your interested in learning more please feel free to reach out.
My Background and Approach
When you coming into session, you will have some time to process the events since we last saw one another, and then transition into where you would like to shift your focus to specific themes/areas that need our attention. My goal will be to be to work with you to determine your goal for that session, and to provide you with tools to support you in that journey. I often encourage individuals to remember the importance of how smaller goals lead to larger ones. I have a background working with neurodivergent individuals, and those with both lower and higher support needs. In addition to this, I have also had experience working with those diagnosed with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), and am able to utilize Exposure Response Prevention (ERP). I am honored to work with teens, and children being able to watch them grow, and find themselves to include members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have worked with individuals, families, children, and adolescents since 2012.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all individuals in their mental health should be able to hold autonomy, and choose which path is right for them. I encourage an individualized approach to each person, and that we work as a team. It is important to me that each person has the ability to chart their own course, and feel that they have a an open, and supportive place to grow. All humans deserve respect, and the ability to be supported in their journey of life. My hope is to provide a place for individuals I work with to feel safe, affirmed, and to move through each length of their journey in their own way. Whether you are queer, neurodiverse, or in need of support through a transition, it is important to me to check myself at the door, and provide you with the experience you deserve, and the ability to support you towards growth and healing.
