About My Clients
My clients are adults seeking a space that feels safe, grounded, and genuinely affirming. Many are navigating trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, or big life transitions. They want a therapist who shows up authentically and honors their lived experience. Clients here value a relational, collaborative approach and appreciate working in an inclusive practice where their whole self is welcome.
My Background and Approach
Our practice is built on a foundation of trauma-informed, affirming care with an emphasis on relational safety and long-term healing. My approach integrates EMDR, ACT, psychodynamic perspectives, and parts work, along with body-based and intuitive strategies that help clients notice patterns, build regulation, and reconnect with themselves. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and grounded. Rather than pushing worksheets or rigid protocols, I meet clients where they are and tailor the work to their needs, history, and pace. Many clients come to us navigating trauma, anxiety, identity questions, or chronic stress, and are looking for a therapist who is authentic, steady, and deeply present. As an explicitly anti-racist, anti-sexist, and anti-trans and homophobic practice, I work to create an environment where clients of all identities feel safe and affirmed. The goal is to help you move toward greater self-understanding, emotional stability, and a sense of alignment
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a practice, we believe deeply in the power of connection, community, and mutual respect. Our work is grounded in affirming, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive care, and we strive to create a space where all identities are honored. We stand firmly with LGBTQ+ communities, support racial justice movements, and advocate for accessible, stigma-free mental health care. We approach therapy with authenticity and humility, recognizing that each person’s story is shaped by culture, identity, and lived experience. Our clinicians value curiosity, compassion, and transparency, and we acknowledge the impact of systems of power and oppression on mental health. We believe in harm reduction and in supporting clients as whole human beings, not just a set of symptoms. As a practice, we are committed to ongoing learning, unlearning, and growth so that we can show up with integrity and provide care that aligns with our values of equity, belonging, and justice.
