About My Clients
You’re usually the one holding it all together, but lately you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or not quite like yourself. Maybe pregnancy or postpartum has brought unexpected emotions, old trauma is resurfacing, or you’re a young adult unsure of who you are becoming. You want a safe space to process and learn skills to manage day to day stressors, or to just let it all out! I work with women and young people by offering a supportive space to process your story.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with children and adolescents for over a decade in various settings including schools, community, and hospital settings. While in graduate school I started growing a passion for working with women in various stages of life, but particularly women dealing with pregnancy and motherhood related issues. I bring a grounded presence to therapy, and strive to be someone who listens deeply, believes in your potential, and isn’t afraid to offer a gentle nudge when it can help you grow. Think of our work together as a mix of building emotional muscles, learning how to navigate tough moments with more confidence, and creating space for your story.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has a story that is unique to them, and only they can fully understand. My goal is to help understand as best I can, and help you understand yourself just a little more. I believe therapy doesn't have to be overly clinical, and we're all just humans trying to figure it out. I don't have all the answers, but I'm willing to sit with you while we try to figure it out together! Whether you’re learning to manage emotions, set healthy boundaries, understand yourself more deeply, or heal from painful experiences, I’m here to walk beside you, cheer you on, and occasionally nudge you forward when you’re ready.
