My Background and Approach
I offer a safe and inclusive space to explore the challenges you're facing, celebrate your successes, and work with you to put a plan in place to help you move forward. I incorporate a variety of techniques, using an anti-diet, Health at Every Size, and trauma- informed approach to help you find peace in your relationships with food, exercise, body and others. Starting therapy can feel scary and overwhelming, so I work to provide an environment that feels safe, laid back, and full of authenticity and humor.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Helping people reconnect with their bodies and their inner wisdom is my passion. That could mean recovering from an eating disorder, learning to trust your internal cues, setting boundaries with yourself and others, letting go of perfectionism, or working through the loss of your athletic identity.
